IN THE EARLY 1990s, Xerox Parc researchers showed off a futuristic idea known as the Digital Desk. It appeared like another metal workstation, aside from the uncommon setup that hovered overhead. Two video cameras hung from a rig above the desk, taking pictures of every motion of the character sitting at it. Next to the cameras, a projector solid the sparkling screen of a laptop onto the furnishings’ surface.

But Desktopography works higher than Xerox should’ve ever dreamed of, thanks to a long time’s worth of technological advancements.
